My car starts, has power and runs. But when I leave her overnight to rest, she doesn't turn on. The dude I bought the car from relocated the battery to the back. He connected the negative to the metal on the trunk and the positive to the front.

In the front I only see one negative strap (which was where the battery was) connected to the left strut tower mount. Is this ok? Also, he has a aftermarket radio installed. I don't know if that could cause problems to.

How do you turn the car on, do you jump it or charge the battery? If it turns on after jump and runs fine, sounds like something is connected direct line to battery that drains a substantial amount of power, possibly radio

if your jumping or charging the battery get it tested to see if it has any dead cells
like before the radio shouldnt mean much unless its always on even then it shouldnt drain the battery that fast unless you have amp installed

I charge the battery. And Brad, it's a brand new battery. I don't have a amp installed just the stock speakers and aftermarket radio.

just because its a new battery doesn't mean it cant have a dead cell

and if the battery checks out 100% then something is pulling current constantly

Remove the Positive terminal on the battery, hook up your Multimeter inline, and see how much amps is being drained. Start pulling Fuses and Relays until the number drops, the number on meter will give you an Idea what fuse/relay you should pull. Good luck

I've been through 2 battery's already. Doubt it's the battery LOL, Thxs snail I'll try that once I get a multimeter >.>
