Alright so I made a big mistake and just wanted to clarify some things up. I've searched every post I could find about my issue. Awhile ago I rebuilt my turbo because I was burning oil and it had a lot of shaft play so I figured that was the problem. When I opened it up I saw the compressor wheel made contact with the cover but of course my dumb self went ahead with the rebuild anyways. When I was putting my turbo in I rested it on something(don't remember what) to grab a tool and it fell(later you'll know why I'm telling you this). I installed it and noticed my PCV smelled like a lot of burnt oil so I cleaned it out for now(Autozone one) just for the sake of now since I didn't have any money, started the car. Noticed the rear coolant line leaking a bit and my manifold was steaming. My exhaust would have some burning coolant in it and slowly started pouring coolant out. As if I filled my exhaust with tons of water. So I shut it off and noticed I could hear droplets that would burn off and turn into steam inside my manifold. I'm thinking the turbo is straight up dead anyways and that the center section cracked somewhere when I dropped it. Any ideas? I plan to daily this so I want all problems fixed. Will be doing a compression test and leakdown test soon to see if the headgasket is bad but I doubt it because it never did this until I reinstalled the turbo.:dsm:

If it didn't do this till you redid your turbo, and youre sure your turbo is toast, then get a new turbo. Especially since you want all problems fixed anyways.

So you can hear water in your exhaust manifold..?

Thanks for the replies...:|
Try a simple "any ideas?". Thatll probably get you more replies than this :D

Well before I bought a new turbo, I would be share it's that, take apart and look. Don't know how far it fell, but I wouldn't think anything of it. But I could be way off not sure:idontknow:. Do the compression and leak down test first, might not have to buy new turbo. Unless it's a tester then I would try. Just me.

Was water getting in exhaust from leaking line? Change line.

Or was it from their and inside your exhaust? Could be cracked center housing I suppose, leaking water/coolant into exhaust. Manifold is before your turbo though. you can pull off down pipe from o2 housing and see how wet that is.

But I would pull turbo tear it down and look at it. Good luck hope it's not to expensive :thumb:
