My car used to show a reading of about -15 on the boost gauge when it was at idle. Now it is only at about 5-6. Also my wastegate is set to open at 9psi (stock N/T motor) but I can only boost to about 4. Are these signs of possible boost leak??? Let me know what you guys think  as I would really love to boost my full 9 LOL ROFL

ROFL HAHA! Thats what I thought. Guess I'll be makin' me a trip to the ol' Home Depot this weekend to get parts to build a leak tester.....YAY:thumb:

Well, I'm not sure....Would I need to adjust the timing for turning a N/T into a turbo motor?

No sir, but if you were ready for a timing belt before. Then that extra ummphh from the turbo could definetely cause you to jump a few teeth. It happens alot with dsm's. Its almost always because it wasnt changed when it should of been. its happened to me though

Hmm, I will most certainly check that then!!
