Position of cam gears on new motor

I can't find any solid info on this.

I've got a 2g 7 boltt in a 1997 i'm setting up. Should the dowel pins on the cam be facing up or down when setting the Timing?

I know for sure on 6 bolts, it is up. Im assuming that it is the same with a 7, but I never have done one on a 7, so I cannot say 100%

Dowels facing up is the proper procedure for timing any 4G63 from the top dead center position.
