ported 1g intake mani or smim?

I have pretty much completed my engine build (read profile). I already have a 1g int. mani thats been professionally ported by a machine shop, but I'm thinking that it still might be too restrictive for my setup. Although I would like to buy an smim (such as a jmf or magnus), I have a baby on the way and just can't spend $500-$600 on one part again(I've done that one too many times ). Lie to me and tell me that a ported 1g mani w/ a 65mm tb will be fine(ok don't lie).

I say get the magnus or the jmf racing one. Compared to a ported 1g mani the gains up top are amazing.

although i shouldnt be telling you this, based on your current situation, i have to be honest and say that the 1g mani is not going to fulfill your needs. granted, you will still make big power with that setup, BUT a jmfab smim with a q45 throttle body will solve present and all future restrictions in the intake tract. but if you want bang for your buck..toss in a methanol setup instead
