Popping in front end

Theres a random popping sound coming from my passenger side front suspension. Its sounds like an axle popping but the axles are new. Im thinking its in the suspension. Its a single, loud pop. It happens when I put alot of stress on the front end. For example during moderate to hard braking. It happens most when I'm braking hard and turning at the same time(low speed). During highway speed crusing, I never hear it, unless I hit an extremly large bump.

What could it be? Ball joints? Tie rod ends? And if it is one of these parts, how do I go about checking them?

Sounds like a bad cv joint but I could be completely wrong on that

Jack up the car, put on jackstands. Get underneath, grab above mentioned parts with both hands and wriggle with all your might. If there is even the slightest play, it could lead to loud popping noises. Tie rods, grab the tire at 9 and 3 positions and wriggle, then narrow down to inner or outer. It's unlikely to be a CV join because the sound would be a repeating pop based on rotation speed.

I used to think that "oh if you have that noise going over a bump, it's probably balljoint" or "oh if you have play in steering wheel it's probably tie rods" but I've come to realize through experience that it could be anything. Good luck searching.
