plug a factory water line? to4e install problems

I'm in the middle of installing my oil cooled [to4e] G50 into my 2g talon and it's being a big PITA. I have to dent the water pipe among other things and the compressor cover is ALMOST fitting but the banjo bolt [one of the original factory water lines to the turbo] from the block is hitting the compressor cover...

Can I plug that original location up with a brass plug and cap off the other water line?

or should I just route those two together and grind down the actual banjo head?

btw, the banjo bolt is located DIRECTLY under where you would need to dent the water pipe...
