PLEASE HELP

I had the same problem when I first rebuilt my laser, find a place that will load test your battery. It could be as simple as a dead/falty one.

As well as checking all connections with a fine tooth comb to start to eliminate different sources.

Goodluck!

well i took the battery to walmart yesterday they said oh well its fine. bullshi* i started it up today and it almost died... and no it doesnt start back up i have no dashlights when the key is on.. and the alternaor fuze i just replaced whats a easy way to test one? ### to me its hard to look in there and see if its broke LOL.
im so tired of walmart!!!!!!!
thanks guys

Try going to another autoparts store near your house: Autozone, Pepboys, etc and just tell them you want to see if your batterys faulty or not. They usually do it for free. I honestly wouldn't go nor recommend Walmart. Lol

Have them do an alternator test for you also. That will tell you if its not charging. To test the fuse, use a test light and make sure it lights up on both sides of the fuse.

I would definitely look at the fuse first. You already had to replace it, so you could have a short in the charging output wires between your alternator and the fuse

Just want to add that if you have an ohmmeter/multimeter, you can check it with the continuity setting. There shouldn't any [measureable] resistance across a good fuse.

So you have power to lights and door dinger 100% of time while this happening? Sound's ignition related. Ignition switch, MPI relay. Has the wires under your dash been messed with at all?

and the only time i messed with it was when i started to put a tt in..but stoped:hmm:

I would go through and make sure all of your fuses are good, but I would check battery voltage too. It should be at or close to 12.6 volts. If you have power to everything, check your connections at the starter and start looking at your grounds also. It could be ignition related, but I would start with fuses and connections. Make sure u have a good connection on the battery terminals.

if the battery is dieing, it could send the alternator into a "Overload Mode" sortaspeak, where the alternator tries to hard to charge the system and the battery. Maybe that is the problem..

where you stranded or something? Is that why you made this thread with an incomplete description?

Hope you make it through man!
