please help no spark :(

ok i just put a new stock 420a in my 2g eclipse rs and i have no spark i have no clue whats wrong and the stuff i read was the crank shaft position sensior and camshaft position sensor. i checked the cam shaft and thats good but idk where the crankshaft position sensor is. also any other ideas ? i need this car running so i can sell and get a gsx please help

Sorry im not sure if this will help but I hope it does.Mitsubishi Eclipse RS: I have a 97 Mits. Eclipse RS, 420a - JustAnswer I just had to replace my CAS because I wasn't getting spark to cylinders one and four. It Worked! I pulled my crank position sensor and I got no spark so hopefully thats your problem. I have a 95 eclipse gst so the crank position senor is right on the end of the crank.

ok that worked now once start up it revs very high and i have to shut it off what would cuase this ?

check to see if your IAC is plugged in and also check to see if you have a gasket on your throttle body
