I am looking to buy a dsm again but since i have not been on in a year i forgot alot. I know the stock manual dsm turbo for a 1g has tdo5h but i am stumped on this one. Could it be a t-25, or is it a 13g off a auto 1g? I dont know if it is a t-t5 or t-28 cause i have a t-25 and comparing the two and i dunno dont look the samee except the center section look the same as the blown 14b i have but anyway thabnks for the help.

Pic is at the bottom.

No ill try to get some more, thats is what i said but the 14b and t-25 i have in my room share the same features but it look like it is a 14b center section with t-25 compressor housing.

That looks nothing like a T25/28 comp. housing. It's a TD04/5H turbo, cant tell which without seeing the wheel or part #s. I can't tell from that pic, but maybe someone welded the outlet elbow on and that's why you think it looks like a T2 comp. housing?

From what I can see doesn't look like a T25/28 to me. That lookes like a std 14b/16g etc comp cover/outlet with something attached to the end. Also looks like a Mitsu turbine housing, not a Garrett. Center section looks Mitsu as well.

Looks like its probably a 16g, more then likely a small 16g as the big 16g & evoIII don't have that thick of a comp inlet because of the larger compressor wheel. If you give us the number on the comp cover, this will tell you for sure.

I'm w/ you. Ive got money on a small 16g. At least. Mine looks identical. Only a measurement of the wheel or the numbers on the housing would tell is for sure.

Knowing the numbering on the compressor housing will tell you for sure which 16g variant it is.

49178-01520 Small 16G
49178-01420 Big 16G
49178-01470 EVOIII 16G

Thanks, i only ask cause i am looking to buy this car in the next few days, so i have no clue as to the numbers but thanks to all

TD05H is the name of the turbine wheel. All MHI built 14B and 16G turbos have the TD05H turbine wheel.

The 14B has the 6 cm^2 a/r ratio housing and the 16G variants have a 7cm^2 housing. You can also identify the turbine housing ratio on the turbo. Look on the compressor side of the turbine housing towards the inlet. there will be a 060, 070, or an 080 (6cm^2, 7cm^2, and 8cm^2 respectively).

In the magenta square in the pic above is where you should see 07 for 7cm^2 housing.
