Garrett Turbo Please help identify!

Alright so im looking at buying a Garrett turbo off of a friend. never been on a car even but the compressor housing has been polished so all numbers are gone! Numbers on the box are 466491-0005 It has a .70 compressor cover. What could this thing be?!?! it has a tiny exhaust housing and a decent size compressor cover.....

Remove the covers and measure the wheels. The best way to figure out what it is.

Yes, definitly measure the wheel...it does resemble some what of a 50 trim though

7 bladed wheel, most likely a T04S 60-1.

T04S cover (.70 a/r, 4" inlet), 60-1 compressor (7 straight-pitched major blades, near a 60-trim spec). I have no idea what turbine wheel it has- could be one of four or five.

The cold side is capable of 58-60 lb/min of airflow on good supporting mods- if the turbine housing is as small as you claim, it will never allow the compressor to reach it's potential.
