Hey all, i installed my vibrant filter and 2g mas adapter yesterday and now its running incredibly lean. I'm not going to lie the intake the guy had on it before me was absolute crap but on the same hand ran fine with it. I'm stumped as to why a proper fitting filter would cause this. The filter is the only thing i messed with. Any ideas guys?

You can adjust your maf screw to richen the a/f mixture. However I recommend checking for vacuum leaks first. Or any presensor leaks in the exhaust. If you still have an egr check to make sure its all good. How long have you driven/let it run the car since changing it? All you did was change the filter correct?

I m almost certain its clear on egr or exhaust leaks. I drove it yesterday after changing my coil pack monday and it drove flawlessly, the best its drove since i bought it a month ago. If anything it was running rich before the filter install.
Ive only drove it to work this morning and my A/F were 17-18 while cruising. I saw that and stayed away from boost like my life depended on it LOL. I'm agree with you on some type of leak. Maybe a post maf pre turbo leak... I didn't have time to look at it this morning but I'm currently at work so it'll have to wait till 4 before i can investigate further. I just didn't fool with anything else other than the filter. Thats why I'm stumped.

Checked volts at the battery and it showed 13.8v. Fuel pump volts at the sending unit was 8.7v So i think I've found part of the issue. Its weird cause the fuel pump sounds like it always has. I havent noticed a difference in the humm it throws out.
