ok, i just my motor back from the shop and they honed it for chrome rings, now i call topline and that what they said there rings are,, steel with a chrome face,, can any one example that a little better, and did i get the wrong hone job done,,

just called my shop and thay honed it for chrome moly rings.. started with 220grit and finished with 400..

Most piston rings are either cast or ductial iron as their main material, many have a thin plasma-moly, or chrome facing on the top ring.

Generally speaking chrome faced rings seat better with a slightly rougher cylinder wall finish due to the hardness of chrome. Moly or plasma-moly rings tend to seal better with smoother cylinder finishes.

ok, thanks man, should i trust topline ring, i like there gasket and seal kits, but i feel that there bearing, timing belt and rings maybe cheaply made, this is my second engine build with them and i will invest in something else,

In a nut shell you get what you pay for.

Depending on your goals/expectations you may want to choose higher quality components.

I have used Top Line parts for some budget builds in the past with good results. I have never had a motor fail simply because of poor quaility components, there was always some other extenuating circumstances like too much boost, too little fuel, too much spark advance general stupidity etc.
