So i ordered a set of wiesco pistons, .20 over and eagle esp h beam rods. I know that pistons and rods usually have a specific cylinder they go in, and i was wondering if there is any way to tell which ones go in which cylinder. There is nothing in the directions about which cylinders they go in so if anybody has done this before could you please help me! thanks
. Its new hardware, either way the pistons will come the same size and a certain piston will not have to go in a certain cylinder, if you did it like me and just tore the head off and and your just pushing the pistons and rods out through the top, make sure you hone the crap out of those cylinders until your arms get tired. Then plastigauge to spec. They are pretty cheap, but get the wall clearances, and hone to spec, unless you got oversized stuff, in which this case you do, in that case the block may be need of boring, and might as well get your crank polished, but if your doing it with motor intact, i personally have hones .20 over with a flex hone, and degalzing. But you will have sore arms for the majority of your time after
