I did too, but my budget was too weak at the time and i was too antsy. I used a ebay turbo which worked well, but my down fall was i didnt break in my motor in the correct amount of time, and bearing shavings clogged my filter, killing the turbo. But this time i have a very strict break-in timeline. Not to mention a few small (insurance policies)..... With my new turbo i have an inline filter for the oil supply line, and a "Filter Mag" for my oil filter.

There an ebay special, "ONSUKO" i believe, the only thing i did to them was take out the washers where the bolts hold timing to the gear, they like to slide. But havent had a problem with them, the only reason i bought them was to make it look better for the price, i dont plan i adj timing from there.

wow looks kool how did you put the smic in the engin bay and how dose it work?how much psi are you pushing?.....
 
Decided to update mine since I've gone my build. Not 100% done here but it runs.

It's a shaved and powder coated (or painted, perhaps) valve cover. You can get them on eBay from some people, pay somebody to do it to yours, or do it yourself.
