i searched and i know the possible problem with it, but my question is how long did you drive before you got it fixed? .. i wont be able to see my mechanic that i have a warranty with for 2weeks, within that time im gonna put around 500+miles on, is this something that needs to be fix immediately? or could i wait those 2weeks and get it fix or should I just not cheap out, and pay to get it fix asap.

So there is multiple things that can cause the timing belt to make noise. Exactly what is it that you suspect is the problem or causing it to do this?

Ive learned anything that has to do with the timing belt, dont wait,
take care of the problem asap before you bend some valves.
So if you can dont wait, other wise it can become costly.

If you're having problems with timing belt noise jack up the car, pull off the driver's side wheel, pull off your accessory drive belts, jack up the engine with a jack and a nice piece of wood against the oil pan, pull the motor mount, drop the timing belt cover, inspect the work your 'mechanic' did and go WTF? Put it back together, and take it to him and tell him there's a noise there that shouldnt be. Pull off the cam gear cover and look at the belt. Make sure theres no material being shredded from it because of a loose pulley.
