Whats the part called that runs from the intake manifold down through the wheel well area by the intake pipe for the turbo and I believe it connects to the stock mount intercooler. I wanna replace it because I think its the "upper intercooler piping" because the "lower intercooler piping" I was believed was replaced to metal.
 
So depending if you are running a stock set up or not, this diagram should help. If not then yeah the simple name would just be the upper intercooler piping.
That diagram is perfect! Thank you very much. Im looking for a better name for the 8 and 6 piece on that diagram which by looking at it, its the upper intercooler piping and yes im running with the stock sidemount intercooler but a 16g turbo

Yeah i looked around on google more and it is. But now the question is where do I find the set of pipes for the upper portion without the tacky color boots for connecting them :idontknow:

Yeah the name given on there really isn't very helpful ROFL but since you are running stock the diagram should still help a bit, and no problem :thumb:
Once I figure out what I need im gonna get an injen intake for the turbo and probably an evo bov even though i like the color of a greedy LOL
 
I would love to go that route aswell. Especially want to get a big 16g for just that extra bit of fun
For now since im fixing some suspension parts and can't buy the fun parts I did the "free mod" of cutting out the bov dump tube out of the turbo intake. But I still really want an injen intake instead because the stock intake bothers me so much with the air box as well. But hey for the time being it made it loud and now that I got the line from the intake manifold to the bov it whistles when it gets up into boost. I can even get it to "blow off" if I get it up to boost and just let off really quick. You can just hear that nice pssshhhhh :D:cool: but its recirculated
 
Yeah i have the same thing going on, my bov is recirculated yet still loud enough to enjoy. But I am running the stock turbo intake piping with a K@N filter instead of the box and a GM MAF. I should look into the injen part though I have never considered it

I really wanna use a filter but I don't have the money at the moment to get an injen intake. Is there something I can get thats cheaper that would have the adapter and filter?
 
I am not completely sure how the oem maf sensor is shaped, so if you can't find a plate or something to get it to the right shape I just have a GM maf which fits right to a round filter. However with a gm one you need a maf translator

A lot of people sell the injen pipes used on the classifieds here and on Facebook. I bet you could get one for $50.

If I could snag one of those that would be amazing. Would it come with the maf adapter to use a filter instead of the dumb air box?
