Ok I have a Handspring Treo 90 running OS v.4.1H3. I have a serial hot sync cable from pdaparts.com and a T16-003 interface from Multiplex. I have MMCD v.1.8, Obd Gauge and Palm N Stein. Obd gauge just says- failed to open communications port Err:772, MMCD cycles through the parameters at the bottom left of the screen and then checks pause, and Palm n Stein says- serial open:770, please do a soft reset. Also I can not check DTC's with any of the programs either. Wherever possible I have selected multiplex, iso, and chosen the lowest baud available. I do know that the treo 90 is supported by Palm n Stein and MMCD. I'm not sure about OBD Gauge. The only thing I can think of is the serial hot sync cable is not right, because I get the same response if its not plugged in to the car. It does sync with my desktop though. Is anyone else using this palm? What did you have to do to get it to log? Any suggestions at all would be helpful. Thanks.
