Palm logging software?

Okay, so I've been searching for quite some time for this.

I have a older cable and do not want to buy a new one just to get software not to mention rewire the damn thing.

I've checked several sites and they ALL had dead links even THIS site.

So, what I am wondering is if there is still a free palm logging alternative or if maybe someone still had it archived on their PC or server. I know there were about 5 or 6 major free palm data logging projects in the passed (about 5 years ago or so) but they have all died out it seems.

By the way I have a Palm M105 dinosaur from 2001, yes... it still works. I don't see why the software would be model specific unless it has something to do with the firmware or something but I just thought I'd put that out there.

Anyway, thanks for reading.

ahhhh Thanks for clarifying that up for me.

i saw the Obd1 Hack on the wright up but thought, that was only necessary for the 1gs and that the 2gs were good to go already.

Does anyone know a link to where i can find a software logger for a ob2 and palm?

The only one I knew of was Pocketlogger and it's been discontinued for awhile. I still have my software and cable. My car's been sitting for awhile, and I tried to use it again, but my Palm died. I bought a "new" palm but for whatever reason I couldn't get it to connect. Instead of trying to figure it out, I said F-this and just bought an OBD-II bluetooth adapter and plan on using the torque app.

That was directed to the OP... . I'm not sure anywhere that is hosting all what you need to do it with a 1g as it is.
( I have it all but no time to do much with it all )... I need to update an do a write up for the 1g stuff as it is. I more then likely have some of the 2g stuff

BUT,

Logging on a 95/96 is going to suck no matter what you do unless you are running a different EMS over a stock ECU.

Its Mut over ODBII and you can only log a few Items at a time because of this or you will end up with useless logs as the logging rate is so slow.

Honestly I would just use this ( An older version ) for a 2g Mitsubishi/Subaru/OBDII/CAN EvoScan Software and a cheap Vag/elm327 cable. It's a bit to setup. But so is an Emulator.

Take note of this page though for getting things setup right.

Hell if you have an Android or Iphone you might have better luck just picking up a elm327 Bluetooth dongle and running This or a number of others for both at a higher cost like Kiwi, Logworks etc... . I can't really comment on anything "I" as I've never fell victim to the marking like some. Lol
