Hey guys I am thinking about painting my intake manifold and was just wondering how hot the intake manifold gets in degrees, because I need to know what temperature paint to buy.

ya i would say 500 degrees would hold up just fine if it got over 200 i would be worried about your motor. clear coat though makes it look real nice
 
The 1200* paint has ceramic in it and the black looks kind of brownish in color. So I used the 1200* for my heat shield and 500* for IC pipes and intake manifold. Here's mine... I just did it like 2 weeks ago:
