Paint on front mount??

I recently purchased a FMIC spray painted black with the guy's intials.I want to remove the paint, is there a way to remove the paint?

Try lacquer thinner; that'll remove most paints. If that doesn't work for you, there is also a graffiti remover solvent sold at most home improvement stores that is specially formulated for spray paints.

I wouldn't sand something as delicate as a FMIC.

I 2nd thinner. Should do the trick.

Or carb cleaner Not sure what's worse for the environment but thinner can be reused.

Had a friend with a similar problem he used thinner and he had no problems

The thinner or the brake cleaner as described above, carb cleaner dosent work as good as brake cleaner, but they all should take it off with no problem.

Aircraft Paint Stripper from autozone or some other auto place.

It takes all paint off within like 3 minutes. No hassle.

dont get it near anything that you want to keep paint on though =)

Aircraft stipper took mine off instantly(you bought a dejon didnt you).

He said initials...i doubt its dejon. Im glad i got my dejon before they started painting the "dejon" on them.
