@92AWDHX40 stopping by a couple times on his way to/from visiting family. Nice to see and meet you, Vic!Hey, all! Hope everyone is doing well out there!
I've been grinding between work jobs and the extreme heat to push to get this thing ready for the shootout.
Motor and trans mated, back in the car! I've been working on a bunch of supporting projects and small details while waiting for parts.
Sucks to see RTM getting out of the game...I've been ordering parts off the other site supporting vendors.

Yanked the stinky old headliner to repair a small section of dome light wire that a mouse chewed on. Lol

Since I'm waiting to eventually upgrade to the aluminum DSS unit I didn't go all out and have this powdercoated, it still turned out better than the submarine shaft that it once was
Fresh HD U-joints from Japan GMB brand ($10/piece from rock auto) new OE carrier bearings with the air space filled about 70% with eurethane to allow for for some movement. Yes, I know, It may be awful and should have used silicone, we'll see. It has every single polyurethane mount available so she's going to be buzzy no matter what. Lol

. You won’t be disappointed, the only downside to such a small fast spooling turbo is cruising in 5th gear you have to pedal it at times to keep the car from just taking off
. Man, I sure could use help with a tune, just using the Evo8 mod 1 file now. She still needs some work but it's getting there! Another one back on the road that was about to be parted out!
, I was also on the Evo8 modified map
, the car seemed to like it, back then I was still on a 2g maf, and just ramped up the timing sliders not really knowing what I was doing
. Luckily I never blew the motor, but I just remember the night and day difference going from 91 to e85, super fun set up.Haha, nice! Seems like a great place to start.Heck yeah, I was also on the Evo8 modified map

, throwing caution to the wind. The 4G is a tough little bastard, that's for sure. The PO beat that motor untuned for 100k and the cylinders were still in spec, the machinist couldn't believe it. Lol. Man, that is super cool. Thanks for following along and checking out the build! I've been enjoying following yours as well! Haha, you're right, it is an amazing feeling all around. Finally got caught up on the build since i seen you posting about driving the car. Congrats it's an amazing feeling. My E316 on e85 was my favorite turbo setup to date. Once you get it all dialed in it just makes you grin ear to ear when you get to drive it. I at times still debate on going back down to a 16g style turbo or back to my garrett series turbos since they also had amazing characteristics. If you need any help feel free to shoot me a PM
Whats up, Chad! How’s the car running Rob? Driving it much? Just went through your build again. Giving me some much needed inspiration again. I really need to wrap some other crap up and get back to mine.
