I bought a 97 GS-T about a month ago and at the rate I'm going the car should have every bolt in the car replaced. First my car was throwing the code for an O2 sensor so I fixed that. Now my car is throwing the code for the wastegate actuator. The code in question is P1104. My car won't boost past 13psi and at 10psi it seems very sluggish. The car seems faster if I keep it out of boost. The turbo is spooling but the power doesn't make it to the wheels. My car idles funny like it has a miss. Does anyone have an answer for this problem. I have not made any modifications to the car since I bought it and when I first bought it, it ran fine. I've replaced the spark plugs and the wires and this doesn't help. Please let me know if you have an answer. Seeing how I've replaced the transmission, tie rod ends, 1 half axle, throwout bearing, clutch fork, and O2 sensor in the past month I'm strapped for cash and I have a car show on Memorial Day weekend.

And how do I do that. This being the first turbo car that i've owned it makes me want to sell it and go back with the old na. Here is another thing that i've noticed. My aftermarket boost gauge ( Autometer ) says that i'm in vac at 2k rpms but my factory is on the 3rd line up toward +. I've replaced the wategate aucuator silaniod but the vac lines aren't hooked into it. I just basically plugged the harness back in. Now I can't get the car to throw a code at all which is a bad thing because it has always thrown one for the speed sensor, the little clip is gone and the speedometer doesn't work. I look forward to the day I fix this thing so I can sell it.

Holy Loose Hard Pipe BATMAN. Problem found. The pipe that connects to the turbo was extremely loose. Thanks to the 1 guy who decided to reply to stupidity. Now all I've got to figure out is why everyone but me can run 20psi and I can only run 14.
