Okay this is weird... it only happens when i'm driving and i go to push in the cluch to slow down or stop... when the rpms go down to idle it throws a CEL and my cd player cuts out for a split second and the volts on the AFC goes from 13.8 to 14.0-14.2 and the A/F gauge goes all the way down to lean.... as soon as i touch the gas or put it back into gear and drive away the CEL goes off and the volts are back to 13.8. what is going on?

the CEL code would be helpful to see what it is related to. check to see if there are any wires that are being pushed/pulled when you step on a pedal or move the shifter. From my understanding CEL require a certain speed (RPMs or vehicle speed) for a certain amount of time to come up and dont turn off until they are reset.

yeah this is weird... as soon as i tap the gas the CEL goes away and everything is normal. yeah and my IAC is bad too.. but that wouldn't cause this would it??? seems like it happened after i adjusted the idle lower... it only started this today.. even when it throws the CEL the car is still idling normal.

When you come to a stop, are your rpms dropping below idle, then correct themself? Also, check the wiring behind your deck, there may be some exposed wires that are crossing but I doubt it.

Sounds like it might be your crankpully/harmonic damper seperating and causing your alt to not act normally. however i don't know why the CEL would be thrown... something to check at least, look at the vfaq for it

other than that... its a wiring harness problem.

wire harness problem would be all the time not just when i'm driving... also if i rev it up in neutral it will NOT do it.. its only when i'm driving and push in the clutch.

Well, I've seen it before. What happens when you hit your brakes? Your car drives. How about when you hit the gas? It lifts. Wires usually are pretty tight and in place. As time goes by, however, things become loose and frayed, especially if you have a problem with your ECU...which may be the case. Have you checked your drive belts lately?

found the problem! my negative battery cable was not on there very good and the battery posts were corroded... cleaned it up and she runs perfect once again!!! thanks tho!
