My idle use to be fine, then I had the head rebuilt, and swapped in a new mitsu headgasket (composite). I also put in brand new NGK spark plugs, and brand new NGK wires. Now I have misfire like crazy, even in the upper RPMs. I know my ISC is pretty much dead, I guess it also may be caused by some intake leak somewhere, but I've tested for boost leaks multiple times to find nothing. When I put the timing belt back on, I couldn't manage to get the crank and cams completely 100% lined up. The cams and the crank were off by only one tooth. Would this be enough to cause rampant misfire all across the RPM range? Or should I keep looking for boost leaks? I will be doing a compression test soon to see what that looks like. Any suggestions would be extremely appreciated!!!! Thanks!

OK, it sounds more like to confused the coil wires, sdoes it misfire like crazy at idle, need more info, as for the boost leak, it could be, but it would not make you misfire that badly.
