Any IDea? o

Ok usually when the car smells like ass its a head gasket, or coolant burning. Have you done a compression test? have you looked to see if there is oil in your coolant? Air in your coolant system/ have you blurped the system? Replaced the rad cap? there are many factors to look into when you have an overheating problem.

ITs not a head gasket i have shoot some air in the cylinder and no leak !!!!

Im Gonna do a Compression Test Soon

But Its SMelll Old EGG only between the console and the passenger side...!!!

Someone told me something about the ECU....apparently my ecu can smell like old egg when is hot!!!!!

helpp!!!

today im gonna change my rad cap!!!

Do you have any modifications done to your car, or is it stock?
Is your fan coming on? Flush out the coolant and replace with a 70/30 mixture until winter comes. And a compression test if none of that works.

-edit: Are you visibly losing coolant, or do you have to refill often?

my car did the same thing and it was the head gasket. I would drive slow and the temp would be fine but as soon as I get into it the temp would shoot to red. There are different ways the head gasket can blow. My car had good compression on all cylinders and still had a blow head gasket. The only difference is I had lots of coolant spraying out of my overflow hose.

Its not a head gasket leak...impossible...we shot over 150lbs of air in the cylinder and no leak!!!

Im gonna flush out all the coolant....!!!

and the car smell like rotten egg......

Oh well...

I Do the freemods like Boost Restrictor...Cut The Bov Dump tube and i have put a mendrel bent piping and a new BOV(1g)

I change The Thermostat...Change the Rad cap...i check for head gasket...!!Ahhhhhh Help!!!

Your heater core might be pluged and not allowing all the coolent flow through your lines to cool off. The heater core is located inside on the passanger side of your car and you can usally start to smell coolent on that side when it starts to go bad.

I have the same Problem with my civic right now. I think it may be my starter because I have read that a bad starter can mess up the connection to the ecu.... If Ur starter is old try that.... If not then they said check fuses.(time consuming) but it could be the ecu sadly
