Looked through some of the fancy work you guys have done making overflow tanks but noticed one major issue. Where does the sensor go? Do i cut a hole on the bottom as well? My oem resevoir had a hole on bottom for the sensor to plug it. Do i even need the sensor?

I think most folks are doing away with it, but you can easily cut a hole and re-use an OEM sensor in about whatever container you have.

I believe some years didn't have the sensor either. I know my 95 did, but my 99 didn't.

edit - i should add the sensor is only for the idiot light in the dash so not using one isn't going to impact general operation of the car.

Its not a nesessity. There is a guy on here in the freelancer section that sells awesome overflow vans for 1G's and 2G's.
