overdrive pics

anyone have any pics or good diagrams for the overdrive assembly on a 2g awd ? I cant seem to get mine working. I replaced the clutches and seals twice allready. Maybe im not putting it back together right? What else would make od not work? Is there a fuse or something I should check?

Dose the o/d light turn onn/off when you push the button? If not then look at the switch or wiring in the shifter.

yea, the light turns on and off on the dash. I really dont kno what to do anymore.

Im not real familiar with the auto trannys yet since I just got my auto but I think I read that the converter locks up into o/d by a o/d solenoid. Try searching shift solenoisd or something along thse lines and maby youll get something.

Does it rev like in neutral or just not shift?

it shifts but it just revs like its in nuetral.

According to the other threads I have read that means you need to rebuild the end clutch assy.

did you replace the outer seal around the piston?

yes, I replaced all the seals

mine does the exact same thing. It did it about a week ago after a rebuild, so I took it back, he replaced the seals and everything for the overdrive, and it still does it. I want to race it this weekend, but I dunno if I can now. Does anyone shift into 4th on the track?
