Opinion on this 16g kit

I am quickly buying upgrades and then doing them during work every week, . I am almost to the point where I can start looking at turbo's. I was on eBay and I found this kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TD05...ewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQitemZ8065239321QQrdZ1 . This kit also comes with o2 senor housing and manifold. If I bougth this kit I could put the turbo on right now, run at low boost and then buy the logger, afc, and injectors. I just want some people's opinion on this kit. Thanks.

Only thing I recommend buying from SSautochrome/XSpower is their FMIC that everybody on here seems to have. If I'm not mistaken I think that's the knockoff Evo 3 16G turbo.

This kit has been "opinionated" to death. The slightest bit of research about SS Autochrome would yield more than enough dissatisfaction about their products that you wouldn't even bother to put a link on this site anymore.

If a quality, somewhat complete turbo setup could be had for $500, then there wouldn't be a DSM out there without an upgraded 16G.

Thats what I thought, just wanted to confirm it... well, that's out of the picture then... What would be a good EVO III 16G kit to get. I also need the 2g install kit..

Yes.

Then you will need an install kit if you're a 2G, plus supporting mods. If buying everything new on a "bone stock" DSM expect to pay around 3K plus depending on what maintenance items/broken/worn-out parts you discover along the way to get a somewhat reliable 16G install complete.

Yeah, looks like i'l be buying from them. I'm doing all the other mods first so that the turbo will complete the install, not that far off anymore
