opinion on EBAY 20g

Its just like the ebay 16g's. If you want to be a guinea pig then go for it. If you don't like to waste money I would pass.

Thats not even a correct 20g knockoff its the 16g everybodys talked about time and time again. For that price contact jusmx141 he can get you a legit MHI freshly rebuilt for cheaper and its genuine mitsu. You will still have to purchase the hardware but if your concerned.

good call my bad. i thought it looked like a 16g too which is mainly why i posted it. I would never buy a mitsu turbo that wasn't MHI

this is kinda funny. If you look at the 16g it looks identical to this post

And PS Jusmx141 does some quality work as stated above. Im going to have him build me a turbo but a friend of mine has already had one of his and it works perfectly

It's the same exact platform as the Evo III 16G with a slightly larger compressor wheel, said to be of 20G spec. I'm sure while the size is similar, the weight is not.

You're still going to be let down as far as the amount of lag, poor boost control (the wastegate hole in the knockoff housing is 22mm), and the basic fitment of this turbo compared to a MHI 20G. Another shock will be the two parts kits that are needed when it comes time to rebuild the knockoff 20G as the Chinese use a thicker turbine shaft than a MHI turbo because their cheap-ass recycled steel turbines were breaking when they were cut to MHI spec. The result is the need for Garrett T3 journal bearings and turbine seal, and MHI thrust hardware to rebuild one of these junkers. I'm successful at rebuilding knockoffs only because I have tons of turbo parts on hand to play with; most folks aren't going to have such parts at their disposal, so you'll be wrapping up $150 in parts kits to rebuild a $250 turbo. Friggin' ridonculous.

You could luck out and get one that lasts, or you could take it in the a$$ and throw away $365....the odds are not in your favor. Just remember- a MHI turbo is what came from the factory on your car, and a MHI turbo is what lasts 150k+ on many 1G's as well; the Chinese have yet to prove themselves to be that successful.

Yeah stay away from the knockoff turbos. My ebay evo III lasted a week and fell apart and i bought it new.

Ebay is good for intakes though.
