OpenPort 2.0 "red light of death"?

My OP2.0 has been sitting in the garage for a few months cause I sold the GSX, I just got a 97 GST and wanted to pull some logs while cranking up the boost but my computer wont connect to the cable and the OP just has one red light instead of the multi-colored light show. Anyone else see this before?

did you try to contact tactrix about it? Does it function normally though?
I haven't had any problems with mine, keep it in the car which sees 0C to 100C and I even spilled a soda on it (wouldn't recommend)
