Hey fellow DSMers! I can't seem to get the Tactrix cable to pull the information from the ECU. I have pulled the ECU and checked to see if the code is correct on the board. It is the flashible ECU. I'm running windows 7 thanks

That is what i am using with EvoScan. (MUTIII)

However I am still unable to get the Rom to be recognized. I have emailed my ROM off to get looked at and a rom created for me.

Yes sir.

I have all the information in the lower left screen showing the rom info for the BIN files from his site.

I even have the definition files from his site too, just keeps giving me unrecognized rom image.

Just save the Rom like you have...


Then Just flash the Correct Modded Rom with the Matching Xml you want for your ECU should be fine you already saved the the image to flash back to stock if wanted.

You don't need to mod the stock Rom so it doesn't matter and the Roms are interchangeable between all the Ecus with the same PCB Code as there is just One Rom structure with Ceddy Mods. No messign with the correct rom/definition like various Evo ecu's... . Just make sure your using the newest versions of the files your flashing and you will be good

This is true. I was just hoping to be able to modify my own stock ROM and learn from it.
