Open doors, but handles wont open.

Ok. Im here again with a similar problem.

I left my keys in the car again, i was using a slim jim to get my keys out and i was tinkering with the locks and all of a sudden. I open the doors electronically when the keys when i got them out. But i open with handle except it wont open. It will only open from the inside...

Any ideas ?

If it's like this only on one side then you may have broken the mechanism/linkage inside the door. Unfortunately this is a well known weak area on 2G's. You can take the inner door panel off and take a look and you may see the problem. This may help:

If it is this way on both doors then it may be something else as it seems unlikely that it would happen on both sides simultaneously, but then again it is a DSM.
