Hood wont open

Ok so i had the inside of my 92 eclipse torn apart replacing the ecu and cd player, I put every thing back and go to open my hood and the hood release wont operate. Its all connected fine but when you pull on it feels like it super loose. Anybody know how to get the hood open without the release? Man i can't even open the hood.....

When you installed the cd player did you pull the dash or something? Try pressing down on the hood then try to open it.

sound like you might have to pry it open and get a new latch

Maybe have to reach under the dash were the lever cable is at and pull on the cable itself.

Or, pull on the lever and a helper outside trying to lift the hood as you two work together. Then check the release mechanism and see of the other end of the cable is secured in the mechanism.
