Well sitting on the side of the road wait for he'll. Heard it start to knock out of no where. Was running great the it knocked for 20 sec temp went sky high and it died. Ill update soon as I'm home.

How much boost were you trying to run on a stock car? I see MBC is your only mod. Does it have a boost gauge at least? Not surprising on cars that are just purchased.

Set at 12 psi. Here is the update. After letting it cool down It does start and run again. The bottom end did not sieze up. So after i got it hom I pulled the intake IC piping off and there is oil all over the bell houseing of the transmission. all over the left side, and back of the engine bay. The groves in the trans mission trans case that is below the intake manifold are full of oil. I swear that it looks just like I had an oil line blow off under high pressure and just blow oil everywhere. There is no sign of oil anywhere in the front of the motor. Othing around the cam cover, the belts or anywhere like that. But under the EGR valve that whole area is soaked. I will take pics. Even the trans dip stick has oil on the right side, ( Imagine if your standing in front of the car looking at it.) but the left side is dry. Same for the wiring harnes. Tons of oil. It almost seems like I said something blew off or the head gasket blew. Now my temp guage was reading below half way the whole way home then soon as I heard the knocking I pulled off the main road on to a side road and the temp went way up to 3/4 of the way to the H. Scary high to me. Now before this I could start the motor and it would run very quiet. No cam noises. Now the intake cam chatters alot. So what ever damage wasdone has been done to the head. I will pull the valve covers off this weekend and maybe even pull the head. I want to try to pull the motor this wekend. But I haven't pulled one of these motors yet. So wish me luck. I am alreayd reading the one thread I found abo0ut pulling it out. Does anyone have a detailed one? Looks like its a big jobe;

I am afraid this is related to me pulling off all the excess emissions vac lines. Considering how brittle everything is inside the engine bay, 18 year old , if it moves it seems to crack then break.

i doubt it has anything to do with removing your emissions equiptment. sounds like your hg blew. dont worry about pulling your engine its very simple especially if you take it out with the trans still attached or even better drop the trans out. i had a f@$% of a time my first time when i left my trans in, hope this helps a little and good luck
