Blew up the T25, questions on drivability??

How safe would it be to drive about 20 miles tomorrow? I need to get it over to a friends that has all the tools and an extra turbo laying around. Is it safe to drive over there?

Yep, youll be fine. Youll have shit for power and get alittle oil in the intake but other than that youll be ok

You should be ok just stay out of boost as much as possible if you can still even get boost

You should be good, just be carful. I blew my T-25 out last month and the mechanic I took it to sayed that if I had droven for much longer I would have F'd up my engine.

I was losing about a quart of oil every 5 minutes though the main oil seal in the turbo though.

well the car wont even go into boost, so driving it this morning i didnt even let the boost gauge hit 0. my buddy is actually putting on his old turbo right now since im in school.

If it starts acting up at all, stop and put more oil in it. When my old 14b went, It was losing oil like crazy.

keep an eye on the rearview. i had my t-25 blow when i had my eclipse. just tried to drive it back to the house a few blocks away and it started POURING oil down the exhaust pipe. talk about SMOKIN!!!!! don't wanna fry your motor while you're at it.

well everything is now replaced, car runs good. i had to put some oil in it though, it was stupid low.
