My engine is at the machine shop right now getting cleaned up and assembled. I received a call yesterday stating that the small end width of the Oliver rod is to big to fit into the Wiseco HD piston. The width of the rod measures at 1.110" and the opening of the piston measures at 1.107". My options are to mill the rods to fit for $240, or see if I can exchange the rod for something else that will fit. Has anyone else had to do this? Opinions welcomed.
