wiseco hd piston users

Read this and really had me scratching my head. Has anyone else noticed wiseco pistons be be out of spec to the set like Jake is describing?

Thats not good at all. I was planning on using the HD's for my build, now I'm second guessing.

That is quite the tolerance there. They may have had a problem and shut down manufacturing to correct this. Wiseco is still the way to go for pistons. They make a great product.

HDs are one of the best pistons money can buy these days.

Thats what MAperformance told me. It is a weird feeling to have that your engine is not the weak point, it is the small turbo haha.

To Heavy.




Compared to standard Wiseco pistons and most other manufactures they are pretty heavy. But they do have a stronger/thicker wrist pin and more material through out. I only suggest HD's for really high HP (1000).

Well I always say, "better safe,then sorry". If you going to spend 400 dollars on pistons,you might as well go all out. Spend another 100 for the best and out do the rest .
