Old key with new ext door handle. How?

I'm looking for an outside door handle to replace a broken one. I noticed that there are quite a few ones on ebay but don't come with a key. How do you go about that? Can I make my keys work with a new handle?

the new door handle will not come with a lock.....look in the tech articles section there is an article on how to install a new handle

either way - any good locksmith can make a key to fit the lock.

heh and an imporession is around 50 to 75 dollars by a locksmith...my dad is one

Just switch the lock with the old one!I did,it was easy!All you have to do is pull out a o-ring clip thing!

Yes, it's very unsettling to find just how little holds in car locks. Sadly, the thieves learn this in prison school.

I just laughed, then considered, then realized I wouldn't want this due to the chance of me setting off my own alarm by mistake.
