ok ok what am I experincing heat soak or air bubbles?

So Im experiencing some over 230 degree temperatures after small pulls no WOT I just put in a VRSF and Type RS Bov car is stakced with 680's,16g,CAI, has a stock MAF, and some other goodies. I just got the car out of the shop we did the Head gaskets some Arp studs timing belt ect, yesterday we put coolant in and it idled fine we let it idle for 25 mins, when I drove it for about 15 miles it started getting hot can anyone tell me what steps to take should I put more water in the resovior and keep filling it also does matter if the resivor is behind the coolant filler housing?

Make sure the fans are working and plugged in, no blown fusses. Also once the car is cool again try burping the system again you may have air trapped, so better to check.

the passenger side fan is only suppsed to kick in when its above 225 right or is it supposed to kick in at the same time as the AC fan

I don't remember bro. But you have ecmlink you can tell the fans when to kick on or do what I do have them full high all the time. Go into link and click the fan high tab and that way you can check if they both work atleast.

Did you do anything to seal the intercooler core to the core support so that air going through the FMIC has to pass through the radiator and AC condensor (If you still have AC and the condensor, that is)? If not, assuming everything else is in order- properly functioning thermostat, radiator cap, 50/50 to 70/30 water coolant mix, respectively, cooling system purged of air and coolant res maintaining proper level and fans coming on at the proper times- then this could be your problem. There are many 2G guys on the site who have sealed their FMICs to their core support to increase air flow through the radiator, so if you search for "FMIC Ducting, Ducted Radiator, Ducting, etc, there is lots of good info.

Thanks for the information I really appreciate it. And there is nothing sealing the FMIC to the core that I am aware of the crash bumper support we put that back on there is nothing else blocking/trapping in air to go through the condenser to the Radiator, Do i need to seal the Core to the condenser to the radiator?

It's not that you need to, but its highly advised. It will help keep the air flowing thru all the components, helping cooling efficiency.

Hmmm sounds interesting Im down for anything that will keep this car running like a champ, I just dropped like 4k into it, also just a quick update I was out there trying to burp the car the coolant wont hold a study flow for more then 7 seconds it goes up and down then blows out

I just want to make it clear that I also had the headgaskets replaced

Its been awhile, I got the temps down to 226-230 just by replacing the fan, I need to seal up the gap between the condenser and the FMIC
