As the title says my glowshift oil Sandwich is leaking. I read a few reviews on them and think it is an install problem.

How tight am I supposed to tighten the bolt? The instructions say don't over tighten it but I can seem to get the entire housing to stop spinning regardless of how tight I make it.

Any thoughts? Should I keep tightening it until it no longer spins? Torque spec?

if you have a torque wrench, try torquing it down to 15 ft lbs. and see if it still spins.

My advice from experience with these sandwich things is to unscrew it and throw it in the trash.. I know that sounds harsh but they are known to fail and always leak and the last thing you want is it to fail going down the hwy. I ALWAYS had problems with mine. Someone gave me the same advice and directed me to the stmtuned filter housing that have ports ready for whatever you are needing the sandwich plate for. More work of course but it will be done right. Also, I think I remember that with the plate on the oil filter hits the downpipe when needing to do an oil change...? This is on a 4g63 though, not the 420A.

I don't mess with the cheap ones, only the ones from Greddy. They're like $80 but you get what you pay for. The greddy adapters don't leak, don't loosen up, they just work as intended. Maybe if you fuct up the installation you might have an issue but that about it.
But i really don't see any need to run one on a 4g63. Even on the 420a a sandwich adapter isn't needed.
If your gonna throw a turbo k-series in your honda, then your gonna need one.

You’re right. I used That greddy unit on my boosted Honda and never had any issues with it.
