I purchased MAHLE / CLEVITE 41692 from rock auto and the oil rings don’t fit. I am able to fit 2 but it is wayy too tight to fit the third. It says that it fits my car but idk if it’s my error or the part didn’t actually fit. If they don’t does anybody have any recommendations for rings that actually will fit. I have a 1997 eclipse gst stock pistons.

Most likely you ordered a wrong ring set. The ring set you ordered is probably for 1g pistons which has 3.0mm oil ring height. If your pistons are the 2g stock, your oil ring height should be 2.8mm. (1.2 x 1.5 x 2.8) That's why too tight.
Sometimes Rockauto listings don't match the year, so you should confirm with the part info before placing order.

Yeah lesson learned. I ordered a set of npr rings which I read some good things about. They have the 1.2x1.5x2.8 height so should be good. Thanks a lot.
