If anyone can help me my oil pressure on my GST is very low car now running good does anyone know what could it be thanks.👍

Hello and thanks.when the car is cold my pressure it's at 0 it takes for ever to star reading any numbers but when the car reaches normal temperature stars reading numbers it use to be at 65 70 the car was running good now it's to low I'm gonna record a video to show what is doing maybe the help better I'm new at this And I appreciate the help.

Stock gauge or aftermarket? Remove the sender if it is electronic and clean the little hole and reinstall the sender.

It's after market it's aem brand ..what is that locate it the sender ??? I don't know much just recently bought this car

Had this happened to me with a slushy engine, agreed on the removal and cleaning with carb cleaner. What brand filter are you using an oil weight?

Easy diagnosis in case if there is no method to read the oil pressure at the moment :
If the oil pressure switch (The warning light) is still working and you don't see the warning light in the dash, and if you can see rocker arms are jetting oil to roller/cam lobe by removing the oil filler cap while the engine is running, at least you have some oil pressure. And most likely something is wrong with the sensor/gauge/wiring.
If you see the oil pressure warning light, or (even if you don't see the light) if you see no oil or just little oil coming from oil jet hole on rocker arms, maybe you have oil pressure issue.

Slush ingine on my GST eclipse does anyone know to to treat this and fix it I have very low oil pressure thank u

What I mean does any one know how to restore pressure my oil pressure is very low and it only reads when the temperature of the car is warm but I'm not getting enough pressure it goes up to like 30 psi

Yes (sludge) and my car is running e85 gasoline. I don't if the matters to to treat motor oil low oil pressure. Could be this the reason my oil pressure is low?

Could you have low oil pressure from engine sludge? Possibly. When you run e85, you have to check/change the oil more frequently. I think you posted about this before. Anyhoo, I’d first rule out a gauge issue. Get a mechanic oil pressure gauge (not sure if auto parts stores rent these) and check the pressure and go from there. Also clean out as much of sludge as possible.

I am probably the only one on here that runs a MECHANICAL oil pressure gauge in the car.
My car:
Cold start hi idle - 75-80psi
Hot running normal idle (950) - 17psi
My motor is fresh and those are true numbers not an electric gauge.
Just putting the #'s out there for reference for you. I think I'm running 10w40 dyno squeezin's for oil since its a fresh rebuild but has about 1500 miles on it give or take a few. I also drive it HARD.
