Oil pan screen gasket...

I took my oil pan pickup screen out of my 95 GSX, and no auto parts store around here have the gasket. My question was if I could just use the Mitsubishi gasket sealant that they use for the oil pan itself, or should I wait the few days and order the gasket from somewhere?

It probably has no gasket. Mitsubishi was sealant-happy in those days. A harbinger of what's become the present.
