A couple days ago I installed a 16g on my 2g eclipse. It's stock, I have a fuel pump and injectors and evo8 ecu ready to put in. I wanted to make sure I did the install right and drove around the block, when I was accelerating and letting off the gas my oil light started flickering. At idle it doesn't but does when moving. I have a oil pressure gauge and it was reading normal. Any ideas? I've never seen the light turn on before the install.

Is the oil pressure gauge stock or aftermarket?
Does the stock pressure gauge read normal?
Your oil level is good correct?
My first check other than oil would be the "idiot light" as shown in the photo below. It could be the sender, or spade connector is loose/corroded.

I have an aftermarket gauge, it has its own sender so stock does not work. Yep, oil level is good I keep checking and look under the car and no leaks. I'll look at the wiring and status of the idiot light, thanks so much for posting that pic it makes it so much easier!
