I got my car back together and it seems to be running well, but I have an oil leak, although I'm not sure where it's coming from. The o2 dump tube and downpipe are smoking, so I'm assuming the oil is coming from around there. Also, I'm now burning alot of oil out of the exhaust. It is blue smoke so I know it's oil. My other question is, I took off the stock PCV valve and it only flows air one way. I blew on the snorkel that enters the valve cover and the air exits that way, but if I blow in the other way it will not allow air back in. I'm not an expert on PCV valves, but is that correct on a boosted car? Also, when I first start the car up, I get almost 20 bars of vacuum, but after driving it drops to about 14, is this normal? I know this is a lot to ask, but I have searched for specifics and am unable to find them. The bottom end of the car does have almost 200k on it, so I'm probably going to be doing a compression test here soon.

Would a bad PCV valve not closing cause me to burn oil? The car didn't burn oil before I did my boost leak test and when I had accidentally closed off the PCV valve it burnt a ton of oil. Now it leaves a steady stream but not as much as at first.

Also, with the oil leak coming from where it is, it almost seems like it might be the turbo leaking?

It's really hard to tell where it would be coming from, but there doesn't appear to be any oil coming from the valve cover. The dump tube and downpipe are both smoking from oil splashing on it.

Well I did a compression check, really good across the board, however cylinder number 2 (going from right to left looking at the engine from the front) was a little lower, about 130 to the rest 140 or so. But my PCV was sticking, it didn't move freely, so I removed it completely to see if that helped and the smoke went away. So, the oil leak could be coming from that. I have a new PCV valve, but it flows both ways, but I do have a check valve coming, so what I'll do is put the PCV valve on with the check valve and we should be good to go.
