Just as a starter I have search, but didnt find a conclusive answer to the question I have...

I'm soon to be running a E316g and I was planing on running a new s/s oil feed line from the oil filter housing...(btw upgraded from 91-94 water-oil cooled...to 90 style:thumb: ) and I've been hearing that the high pressure from the oil filter housing will eventually blow out the seals of the turbo...is this fact or fiction???I read a lot on this site just dont post up LOL

Thx Tuners

It seems to me that this more of a problem with non-Mitsubishi turbos. I run directly from the oil filter housing with my Evo3 16G and I've had no problems.

My evo3 has been fine for a year now that way, it is an issue for the garrett turbos though.

Ok I thank all those that have answered that ? for me...I think I should actually start posting more and be less of a bystander...

Which is the same thing i linked to, except i linked directly to the '90 filter pic.
Look at our post times! Yours was'nt even there when I posted.

The "actual" pictures though, are of a 2g filter housing, and a 91-94 housing. Which is why i only linked to the diagram of the 90.

Anyway, i'm sure that gives you an idea man. If you need more help, i'm sure someone on here can snap a pic of theirs.

I thank you both for the links and the help I was going to put it in like the link I provided which is at the back of the 90 style oil filter housing....But yours is showing on the part that is coming down at an angle....No Biggie though as long as its freshly filtered, and cooled thats all I need thank you both
