OK, maybe I'm just retarded, but I'm installing the EVOIII16G on my 2G, and I can't figure out how to get the stock oil feed line loose. I can either seperate it at the middle where there is the 19mm female adapter and 11mm male adapter, or/and at the oil filter where there is a 19mm female/male adapter and an 11mm male adapter.

First, the 11mm male adapter at the oil filter is stripped. Second, which way do these threads go? I can't get anything to budge either way. Do I have to get the 11mm male loose before the 19mm one at the oil filter?

Something so simple should not be so hard. :)

The 2g oil feed is a pita. If you arent gonna reuse it as I would guess, just cut it off by the oil filter housing, then stick a socket on there. Do the same at the turbo oil inlet. Then there should just be one bracket that you need to take the bolt out of then twist the oil lines out of there, you will more than likely have to bend the shit out of them.

im doing the same thing you are, when i freed my manifold and turbo, i could see the shitty bent stock line atached to the block with the same bracket that holds the stock downpipe on. i just un bolted the whole assembly. the front of my block is suprisingly clean off clutter and stuff.

i took off the bracket bolt, twisted the crap out of the line till it broke off at both ends, used a socket to get the fitting out of the filter housing, and just threw away the t25... problem solved

Yea, I ended up just cutting it and using a socket. Too bad I couldn't get the O2 stud out. Had to wait for a ride to get a new stud. Too bad the EVO316G oil return line uses a different size bolt, had to get those too. All said and done it got dark, but all I have left for tomorrow is the bolt up the J-pipe and the intake.

did you just pick up a new stud/bolt from the mitsu dealer? i need to get one too
