Oil Change Question regarding gauge

I have searched for this and haven't found the answer, and this may be a stupid question, but do I have to unhook my oil pressure line at the oil pressure gauge (aftermarket Autometer Mechanical Oil Pressure) everytime I do an oil change to prime the line, or will it stay primed?

It'll stay "primed" as much as it ever does. Nothing to be concerned about.
