does anyone have another link to this file SNJRT30.EXE ? both of the links on the website are broken. let me know!:thumb:

I have an HP Omnibook 4100 running 98SE 128MB built in Com1 set to defaults. I also have both Tunerstien and DSMTuner. DSM tuner connects correctly and I can activate relays and all that good stuff but, as soon as I click log BAM! The Program crashes. DSM Tuner wont connect at all.

I also have a Palm III and it works fine. I want the laptop version so I can log both the ECU and E-manage at the same time.

i can only think of 2 things you can do mazda,
either just try reinstalling your software. it sounds like the program might just be corrupted or something.
or you can always just log with your palm (since you do have one) and then just transfer your logs to your laptop and use the player to read them. hope that might help a bit. good luck! :thumb:

Ok tunerstein pros. I'm using a M125, the multiples 03 interface and a serial sync cable. When I start the car and try to moniter anything, it gives me a error that says "no rev." So I left that alone and went on to the CEL I've got. Came up with a P400 which it said was EGR flow malfunction(same as Chilton) and a p1400 which it couldn't read and the Chilton said it was Manifold differential pressure sensor circuit malfunction. No big deal for either code so I went to clear the codes (press F4 to clear codes) and nothing happens on the palm or to the CEL. I'm using operating system 4.1 I believe. Any idea what's up with my logger set up?

ok I'll answer my own question :) No rev was just a bad connection from the serial connection to the palm. I still don't know what I did to clear the codes but they cleared through a different screen. My guess is that I hit f2, displayed the codes, then hit f4 at that screen to clear the codes listed. :thumb:

I've got the snj2tntclib.dll file if anyone needs it.

I need snj2core.dll, please e-mail it to me if you have it. THANKS!

Edit: Sorry to the people who keep e-mailing me for that file, I deleted all of this crap a long time ago and gave up on it. Good luck on getting it to work, I couldn't :(

I have the Multiplex connector, running Palm n' Stein on a Sony Clie', Palm OS Version 4.1.

All of my connections seem tight, and I'm still getting the "No Rev" error. Anyone know what could be wrong?

I have all the files I need for the Player, but I just don't know what to do with them. I'm confused about where to put them. I've got the logger working in the car, I just don't know how to get the player to work. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Coup, mine only does that if I plug in the connector after the car is running. I have to plug it all up, turn on the plam and get that set up, start the car, then press F1 to start the log.

yep I did what it said. And it still doesn't work. I have the file on my other comp. I can email it later on, if you still need it :thumb:

Boosted, is that on a Clie', or are you running a Palm?

The only reason I ask, is because people seem to have mixed thoughts on the Clie's.

Sony clies do not work with palm'n'stein. i tried it. you have to get a Palm. a palm III or V works great. dont waste your time with a clie though, it wont work. :thumb:

Damnit, I had a feeling someone was going to say something like that. No big loss, I was just borrowing the Clie' from a friend.

Looks like I'm in the market for an M100/M105/any other Palm that works with it...

get it off eBay :thumb: I believe the OS has to be 3.5 or higher, also

Hey Guys,

I keep getting a a Fatal Page Fault in snj2tntclib.dll every time I go to log. It's a 1g running Win98 from a Dell laptop. It seems to connect and pull codes fine, just won't log.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jeff

From the looks of it, tunerstein isnt worth all the trouble even if it is free. I have the same file problem that everyone else has for the player. Guess its time for me to save 125 for the pocketlogger software.

I thought MMCd had an OBD II option. That sucks, that 2G can't use it. It's a great product.

hello there,

I've tried bunch what the readme has said to do along with trying what other's have tried and still nothing. Anyone have any tricks to get that player working on Winxp ? Here is the readme if anyone is interested.

1) Create a directory named to suit your tastes, on any drive you choose.

2) Copy ALL of the files from the CDROM to this directory

3) Run SNJRT30.EXE to install and register the support DLL's

It will put some DLL files into the system directory and the register them. You must be logged on as adminstrator if you are running NT. DLL's are put under the windows/system32 directory by default. For Windows 95, you MUST install them into the /windows or /windows/system not system32 directory.

Under some circumstances you will get the error "Can't open results file" at the end of program #1. Ignore this error.

Copy the snj2tntclib.dll to the same location as the previous dll's.

If you run the programs and they do not load, run the included SNJ2REG.EXE as "SNJ2REG.EXE \windows\system\snj2tntclib.dll" then try again

4) You can delete SNJRT30.EXE after step 3 is complete

5) To run the logger, click on "TunerLogger.exe", to run the player, click on "TunerPlayer.exe"

The file tnt.reg MUST be in the same directories as these two executables.

*Edit* Followed this and it worked
Windows 2000 and XP users !!!

Once you have completed the steps listed below,
do a windows search for "SYMCJIT.DLL" and rename
any copies you find to symcjit.old and restart
windows ... Win 2000 and XP do not need this file
and problems might arise if this step isn't done ...
